It would be ideal to own three to six Palesa Pads if possible. This will allow you to wear one pad and keep a second pad as a back-up, while you wash and dry your other pad/s. There’s no need to wash your pads in a washing machine but if you would like to do this and only want to wash your pads once during your monthly cycle, then it’s better to have 12 to 15 pads.

STEP 1: Wrap the pad around the panty with the soft side against your body.
STEP 2: Snap the wings closed and wear for up to 12 hours, depending on flow.
STEP 3: Remove the soiled pad, fold and close, then take it home to wash.

STEP 1: Soak the pad, with the soiled side down in cold, soapy water for up to an hour. Remove pads and discard the dirty water in the toilet. Rub with laundry soap to remove any small marks and wash thoroughly.

STEP 2
: Soak again in clean, cold water with 2 teaspoons of white spirit vinegar, for at least 30 minutes. Wring and rinse until the water runs clear.

STEP 3
: Hang up to dry near an open window, out of direct sunlight to prevent damage to the waterproof layer. Should you wish to hang them in the sun, you can do so but only for an hour.

STEP 1: Pre-soaking of pads is recommended, pre-wash cycle on the machine is sufficient. Wash separately from other laundry items.

STEP 2
: Use washing powder as normal, but use white spirit vinegar instead of fabric softener. Wash in a full cold-water cycle, not a quick cycle. If there are any marks after washing, soak the pads again or rub them with laundry soap.

STEP 3
: Hang up to dry near an open window, out of direct sunlight to prevent damage to the waterproof layer. Should you wish to hang them in the sun, you can do so but only for an hour.

Eco feminine care

I promised myself that when I found a local is lekker environmently friendly alternative to sani pads I would support. Well, I am very happy with my purchase so far. If only all who use sani pads would choose this sustainable option.

Love them, highly recommended! And affordable for everyone

I love the pads , the ONLY thing i wish is if it had more of a curvy look at the ends like the MAMA pad . Other than that there is no fault whatsoever , very comfy , easy to use and wash , no stink or stains and lovely bright colours! And the 1 thing that really appealed to me was free delivery!!!

Very happy

I bought a variety of these pads to cover my entire period. Very hapoy with it, so comfortable. A big plus for me is that it doesn't feel as 'wet' and uncomfortable as disposable pads. I use these on my medium-heavy days. Quite absorbent, holds much more than you think, until you see it all running out when rinsing.
